I have a Trek 7300 trekking bike. I have a rear rack with a bag on it that holds a large battery. There are two large wire baskets on the sides of the rear wheel. This lid has everything you need and leaves plenty of room. I got the big cover and probably could have gone with the medium. This covers the bike to the ground. There is stretch material on the edge to keep it snug against the bike underneath. Right after I put it on my bike we had a terrible thunderstorm that lasted about half a day as the tropical storm hit. I was very happy to see that not only did the lid stay in place, but water also didn't collect on the lid. He fell to the ground as it should. My bike stayed nice and dry.
