Very decent bag. Olive green just right. I was impressed with the brass hardware that attaches the shoulder strap to the body - a very solid construction. The leather handles are great - you can tell they're not a problem if you carry a lot of stuff in this bag. The black and white striped lining is very pretty and makes it easy to find things in the bag. The design of the bag is top notch. Why isn't she perfect? It's not waxed canvas. (I put some water on it to test - instant absorption! Soaked.) Solution? Buy canvas fabric wax (I'll try Otterwax) and apply the wax coating you need to repel water and stains. This will take several days. There are many videos online about how to do this, so I'm looking forward to making this canvas bag perfect for me.
