Review on CUTTEREX Banding Trimmer Melamine Straight by Jennifer Roberts

I totally disagree with the only other review at the time of purchasing this trimmer. I have ZERO stars in my review and they have five, for some reason I just don't see it. First, the packaging is a plastic bag! They don't offer a sharp wood cutter in a sandwich-like plastic bag. So all the more transport. Why?! Second, the blade is almost open, with pointed ends protruding from each side. You hold the incision with a razor blade with your fingertips (although this thing isn't much sharper than a butter knife). Third, it's not sharp enough to actually cut the veneer. He chopped more than cut off excess veneer. The utility knife is MUCH BETTER. I tend to rate products with some pros when they deserve it, but this thing is pretty awful and useless. However, my first disappointment was the lack of security of the packaging. Guys, just thinking is easy.
