I fell in love with this nutcracker online so after watching it a few times I ordered it. It arrived quickly and was securely packaged. However, I lacked the processing that I expected. First I noticed that the upper lip didn't have enough red color. It turned out to be a sticker with part of it peeling off. Then I noticed that the cord around the top of his hat was untied. It was glued on and the glue was missing about 2 inches. Also, the tape around the bottom of his hat wasn't attached to the seam - same problem with the missing glue. I was able to use a hot glue gun to fix the glue issues and I was the same color as his lips so I touched them up. Not every customer would have the tools or desire to perform this repair; so i was a bit disappointed. These issues should be identified during quality control/inspection. Overall I'm happy enough to keep the Nutcracker, but thought these issues were worth checking out. I'm glad I didn't pay the $381 retail price at Belka!
