Some pros and cons: Pros: I love the rich dark gray color and the feel of the fabric. I really like the weight of the blanket, the overall feel is not heavy but warm. It also appears to be washable, although I haven't been able to wash it (see cons). Perfect for the California king. Soft and comfortable. Good contrast with black bed frame and black duvet. A real anthracite gray with a slight sheen on the fabric. Cons: The fabric is not as durable as I expected. Although I covered the blanket with the fabric, there are already 2 small tears. To be honest I'm not sure why. I was afraid to start the washing machine because I was afraid it wouldn't stand. The chance of sewing/fixing has to happen eventually and it's reversible so maybe I can let it last a little longer. Disappointed because I wanted to throw something in the laundry. For now, I freshen up by spritzing lightly with Febrise, an essential oil and water mixture, or just plain water before setting the dryer on steam. The trick seems slightly damp, the steam refreshes it. Too cold to hang outside and ventilate. But I will when it gets warmer. hope for a longer life.
