I recently bought a fan extension board but quickly realized I didn't have any mounting hardware. Even then, in my case, there was no logical way to install the circuit board. Circuit board spacing is not exactly the same in most computer cases. A search on YouTube showed many people with the same problem. Since there are 40 pieces in the set, I sacrificed a few pairs and cut out the built-in studs. I then used a screwdriver to spread the unthreaded side of the plastic bracket slightly wider so I could insert the removed screws. This threaded both holes in the plastic bracket and allowed me to attach the bracket to some of the holes in the drive bay. From there it was just a matter of rotating the brackets to perfectly fit my fan extension board.
