Review on SCOSCHE MAGCD2 MagicMount Universal Magnetic by Reginald Holman

We have two styles of CD Holders; one for the 2012 Ford Focus and one for the 2013 Ford Escape. We love her! They are the perfect height for line of sight. The magnet holds well, even through my thick cell phone case. I didn't even glue the magnet to the case, I just popped it into the case and put the case back on the phone. Your mileage for this technique may vary depending on how tight your phone case fits. The phone bounces a bit on bumps, but it takes a really big hit to knock the phone off its mount. However, due to the design of the dashboard on the Escape, this attachment is not optimal. Firstly, due to the angle at which the CD player will be placed, the bracket must be mounted upside down. Otherwise, the turnbuckle actually pushes the radio button. Second, the impact caused the dashboard to start cracking. I cannot stress enough that this is not a flaw in the design of the mount, it is the compatibility with the dashboard of this particular vehicle. We didn't have this problem with the Focus. The first three images are Escape. The second two are Focus. We have just ordered a pedestal mount for the Escape and will review it when it arrives.
