but I got one anyway because the tape supply seemed a lot better to me than the others (I compared specifically to the Epson LW-300).

I read the reviews on this product and was concerned about issues with label edges and others, but I bought one anyway because the tape feed seemed much better than the others (especially compared to Epson LW -300) - variety, availability and price. As for the battery issue, I bought an adapter for about $10. After a few use cases, I can't say I'm happy with this one; I would give 3.5 stars. The unit is larger than I expected, which is purely subjective, but I'll post a photo anyway to give you an idea of the CD comparison. The device works well as a label printer, but the garbage problem is not to be taken into account. easy. The problem of tape wastage is not so much "waste in the economic sense" as it is inconvenience of use. After all, tapes cost less than other brands (felt a bit significantly) and not everyone can be liked in general. After some experimentation, it becomes clear that the device is designed to feed a label an inch (the print head, feed and cutter are arranged in such a way that it is impossible to spread the label without a gap). See the attached photo to see the consistent one inch clearance no matter what you do. Epson claims they have solved this problem and I'm curious how they were able to achieve this (obviously a smart solution is to position the print head and cutter right on the edge or maybe rewind the ribbons after cutting?). Here's the mechanic. Because of this issue, I felt my overall experience was **annoying** for several reasons.1. In standard mode you have a 1 inch margin on both sides of the label text (i.e. the label is 2 inches long or longer). For half or narrow margin settings, a 2.5 cm margin is placed on the left, followed by a colon separator to facilitate manual trimming, then the content box (half or narrow margin), text, and then the right Margin (half or narrow margin). closely). This means you will need scissors to cut, which can be a nuisance after so many labels.2. The second point is actually related to the first point. Since I don't think Standard mode will likely ever be used (an inch margin on either side seems too big for most label applications), I set it to "narrow". But as other reviewers point out, this setting resets after you turn it off, meaning you'll have to reconfigure the setting every time you turn the device on. For these reasons, I plan to try the Epson LW-300, although I did not like the tape supply (variety, the presence of some tapes - out of stock and the overall price).
