I received this duvet in May so it was really just a quick check. However, everything works fine. It heats up quickly and is very skin-friendly. The cord is over 8 feet long and the blanket is big enough to wrap around you. The only downside I could find is that the temperature controls are hard to read. The settings are mainly placed on a black plastic element - without a contrasting color, so that these numbers are clearly visible. Those tired old eyes don't do well with an attitude like that, and it's worth pondering. All in all this is a good blanket and I think it would make a good gift especially around the holidays.
