Overall these chairs are decent. However, some simple tweaks improve the quality significantly. Assembly: I had several stools in one order. It was very difficult to align the screws with the holes. I almost had to send the stools back, but fortunately everything was fine. I believe the pieces are pre-aligned for each chair so you can't help but match the pieces between the stools. Durability: The chairs are quite durable. However, if you're on the heavy side, they'll rock very easily. The reason is that the cross members are not designed for transverse loads. Support posts should be shaped like an "X" rather than horizontal bars. In addition, the legs are sometimes of different lengths, so that they wobble a bit. Overall great for light use (pun intended). Some additional quality control measures can be taken to ensure higher product quality.
