Review on Video card MSI Radeon RX 570 ARMOR 8GB OC, Retail by Wiktor Janic ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

Do you think 4k is overkill? Do you think it's stupid to chase ultra graphene settings in games without seeing the difference? Then this card is your choice! An ideal option for people who know how to count money and who do not need show-offs, but only the result. The most important thing in the case of RX is thoughtful cooling of the system unit. No micro-ATX or mimi-ITX. At least one fan for intake and exhaust. But when overclocked and under load, paired with FX, the entire system can heat an entire room in winter (just kidding). I urge everyone to support small brands that think about the user and bring a piece of good to this world. Let me remind you that AMD has a market capitalization of $22 billion, Nvidia has $100 billion, and Intel has $200 billion. These giants are just milking us. 1060 6gb costs more than 55-60% more, but is only 15% more productive. For me it was a surprise that the target temperature during operation is 71-73 degrees. Those. fans turn on if the temperature breaks through this bar and the speed increases until the temperature is fixed at these limits. But, from the "working" 71-73 degrees, the entire system unit warms up and the CPU fan goes to full speed. As a result, the video card is noisy, the CPU fan is noisy and you can forget about a quiet system. Surprised me and how the map is loaded in different games. In World of Warships (2022 potato engine, originally from Korea), the fans are at 70-80%, the temperature is 70-80. In War Thunder (gods of optimization) the fans are at 0%, the temperature is no more than 73.

Pros
  • - Price (13000r, February 2022) - Performance - Accelerates with a bang! - Silence, but only up to 50% fan speed. - I sympathize with AMD and x64 :)
Cons
  • - It gets hot in games, it's AMD. :) - You can hear the fan at 50-60% speed, it makes noise at 60-70%, it makes noise at >70% fan speed. - Incomprehensible and useless native AMD Radeon Settings utility for managing display and graphics in games, crooked. - I read on the forums that it is with the RX 570 from MSI in combination with some motherboards and some central processors that the system can go into a reboot, get out a BSOD, or simply drop the driver itself. In my case, this is exactly what happened. I cured it like this: I installed firewood from 08202222 and through the dispatcher I cut out all the processes in the names of which there are the words AMD or Radeon.
