Cheap materials, but hey, that's most of the modern product world. The product is fairly light and easy to assemble. The shelves slide over the sleeves during assembly, so at first it appears the sleeves aren't working. It does the job but isn't very impressive. WARNING: My shelf came with the shelf bent - like someone hit it with a hard object. Big dent on the shelf. I'm frustrated by this, although it's not critical to the 'display' in my house. I'm particularly upset because when I put it in the cart it was $21 and when I bought it it went up to $27 but I bought it anyway. Then the price immediately dropped to $21. I'm not sure if this is a Revain hoax or if I'm just mistimed, but this is VERY suspicious. UPDATE: I've been reviewing it for 2 weeks now and the price was just under $21 but for some reason it was $27 the day I bought it. Start thinking about Revain's pricing methods. Also, the company said they would replace the curved shelf I received, but it's been a while and I still haven't received it. I will update it when I get a replacement shelf. UPDATE - The manufacturer sent me a new shelf to replace the bent one.
