I had wrist surgery and am still having worse thumb problems so I decided to give it a try. From the description I understood that this is a supportive compression sleeve and you will understand that it is. It's not a miracle brace to cure you of your ailments, but it does provide light compression that supports the thumb to help with minor pain and relief, and it does so without you even noticing. you wear whatever I like that the palm remains free. It doesn't hinder mobility and you don't have to worry about the sleeve getting very dirty. You will receive two sleeves. The design is seamless so it doesn't irritate the skin underneath like other sleeves or suspenders with seams. You also get a paper measuring tape - I assume this is in case you misjudge your size so you can double check. The medium was comfortable for my swollen 18 cm right hand and my normal 17.5 cm left hand. So I would say the size is accurate in terms of circumference. I asked my partner to try it which has a much longer hand and he found it stretched too much around the inside of the thumb and for that reason I had to increase the size. . Since the manufacturer only asks you to measure the circumference, you should take this into account if you have large hands. Overall, I really like the slight compression this offers. It is very comfortable. That's enough pressure to provide just that little bit of support I need when using my computer, driving, or sleeping without feeling pain, irritation, or restriction. I would advise keeping an open mind when trying this product. It is not intended to treat severe pain, but to relieve mild pain. For the price you really have nothing to lose.
