This is perfect for my clumsy personality. I didn't use the screen protector that came with it and opted for tempered glass for added security. However, I'm pretty sure the raised edges of the case protect the glass even if it falls face down on the floor. Incidentally, another reviewer complained that the tread is blue. It's not like this. There is a blue film on BOTH sides of the tread that needs to be removed. The adjustable handle and stand allow me to hold it or stand it in landscape or portrait orientation so my hands don't get tired. I didn't use the strap but it's a nice added feature.
