This pencil case costs about the same as what I've seen at Target. However, Target's packaging was flat and simple, and my student didn't like any of the designs. So I bought this one thinking I would get a better deal as it is larger and has internal pockets, side access etc. I really liked that the small pockets inside are where you can put your headphones. Plus it's cute. Well I'm shocked at the quality. I really didn't expect anything other than more space. I thought the zippers might be weak or the fabric might be flimsy etc. No. It's a really nice quality. A small keychain is a heavy keychain. "Canvas" is really more than a canvas. Seems like it's probably a little waterproof. The stitching and appearance appear to be excellent. The zipper feels and sounds high quality. Now I'm trying to see if I can use it as a small coffee clutch etc. I can't wait for her to come home to show her. saved my day!
