I had several external speakers for my laptop. Each pair reproduced sounds of different quality in their own way. Also, most broke fairly quickly and I had to remove the plug from inside the machine. However, they produce a deep concert hall sound depending on how you set them up. They're strong, stay where you put them, and have just enough cords so you can orient them for the best sound. Price? Brilliant. I was tempted to buy a backup set in case they were no longer available. They are worth the money for many reasons, starting with their ability to produce quality sound.
