I LOVE this item! After six years of daily use, it still works! Sometimes the bristles don't always hold short, fine hair well, but a very light spritz of hairspray before you start will solve this problem. An interesting feature is the square slit on the blue end of the 'cold tip' (you should look for this as it blends in with the other curved indentations on the rim) - if you rotate the tip so the slit lines up with the row of Bristles, you can push out bristles. this makes cleanup a lot easier - and if you use any hair product, you know that's a huge plus. Note, however, that the blue tip can twist (especially if you hold it while curling your hair), so check it from time to time to make sure it's not aligned with the row of bristles; Otherwise, they may slip out unexpectedly. but i love mine!
