I thought it would be convenient to just screw in this lightbulb and work with an application I thought I could install on my computer and to run them on their range of light colors and brightness levels. I was moving it from room to room in our new house, deciding which bulbs I needed in each. But no. No, it doesn't work as simply and fundamentally as I dreamed it would. The application cannot be installed on my computer.
