Sandals and garden shoes for a few days. Right off the bat they are VERY comfortable with a nice wide toe box. Does not require a break in time. I was so impressed on day one that I am ordering 3 more pairs - grey, black and all black. I will be returning them all as the memory foam rubber outsole is not designed for everyday or outdoor wear. They are more like soft slippers than running shoes. They should definitely not be used for running on the sidewalk or walking to and from the car for more than a week at a time. Please see the photos of the green pair and see how quickly the outsole wears down compared to the Nikes, which are also made of memory foam but have a durable tread rubber. I also posted a photo of an all black pair, the toe rubber is deformed and stuck to the jersey fabric, I suspect it wouldn't last very long. Btw, Nike sneakers are 4 years old now, and their lace-up style got me into Revain. Although I've bought Nikes on sale at the Academy for a little more than I paid for 4 pairs of them, it took years, not a week, to finally replace them. I would recommend the Revain shoe to a small adult/older child who has a light foot and will not wear them for sports or strenuous activities such as walking.
