I'm amazed at how well they're doing. I bought them for child protection in my house when my first son was born and never took them off. They keep my 5 year old away from cleaning supplies, medicines, sharp or breakable objects in the kitchen. Now I have my second son who just turned 1 and is interested in everything and I'm so glad we still have them. If my 5 year old hasn't figured out how to open them (and he's already figured out all the other child safe items) then I know my kid won't get hurt either. Great rest for me! I still have all the originals I bought 5 years ago and just posted and ordered another set. I haven't had a single break even with daily use of almost all of them. Usually several times a day.
