Lost ability to maintain a stable connection with Mac

Although it has been 10 days since shipment, I have not yet fully tested all ports/functions of this docking station. Although I read its specs on Revain, I had to research it further after deploying it. The first issue I found was that this powered dock also powers my Mac and increases the battery indicator to 100% when plugged in. This becomes an issue when my Mac is already almost fully charged and connected to one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports on the dock. Repeated use like this is reducing battery life on my Mac due to overcharging. The second Thunderport 4 port on the dock doesn't get the battery to 100%, but it does charge my Mac enough to keep it where it started. However, this is still an issue when I started with a fully charged Mac and the battery drained excessively when connecting to my devices through this dock! However, on day 10 the dock failed to maintain a persistent connection to my Mac. This is a showstopper. In the meantime, my Mac warned me that the USB device was using too much power and had to be unplugged to enable USB functionality again. The warning keeps appearing even if I clear the warning and remove connected devices until only one Mac is connected to it! It's a blue light that flickers. The metal case of the docking station stayed cool the whole time! Then, when I returned an hour later, the docking station reestablished a solid connection to my Mac. The blue light remained constant. Nothing has changed. I left the install earlier in disgust. I'm willing to work with tech support on a serious issue, but I don't even want to waste my time on intermittent outages. I'm sending this back.
