This stool is big enough to stand on. i have big feet I wanted a stool that I could stand on with both feet. It's big and I don't think it would be comfortable to move it around the house often. I wanted something my mom could take a shower with. She's not stable on her feet and it has to be something stable. It is very good. I can't imagine finding anything better. It may seem expensive but it is actually made with high quality and reliability. I'm sure it will last for many, many years. My husband uses it as a step when he works out and he loves it.
