At first I was so excited because it was almost the perfect place for my iPad Mini. I didn't need a lot of extra stuff, and up to this point I've put my iPad mini in a zippered gallon bag and tucked the bag's extra stuff behind the iPad. Not only does it look pretty sad and tasteless, but it's also hard to trust the waterproofness of the zippered pocket. Well after getting this waterproof case I put my iPad in it, clamped it down and was so excited to see it almost fits like a second case! fits, it's ridiculously hard to get the iPad out when it's in a bag. And I only have a protective glass on my iPad, there isn't even a thin case. What should be a 3 second process takes an indecent amount of time because the rubber plastic bag just sticks to your iPad and won't let go. It's actually pretty annoying. In terms of usability, the plastic is touch-sensitive, making the screen responsive in a case. I use my iPad primarily for reading, sitting at the edge of a pool or swimming in shallow water, and the legibility and visibility through the plastic are more than acceptable. The usability of the iPad in the case remains excellent. The case is also definitely splash-proof and does a good job. In terms of water resistance, I accidentally dropped my iPad mini in the pool while wearing this waterproof case and I'm happy to report that no water got in and the iPad works perfectly. The only real harm was the panic attack when it happened because seriously how much can you really believe in a cheap product like this, made abroad for pennies? But although it sank quickly and floated at the bottom of the pool for about 30 seconds while I frantically fished it out, the case performed as advertised and the iPad carries just as well.
