Bought this backpack for my first trip to New York. I knew I would take the subway/buses and walk a lot. It was holiday season and the streets were full of people. This backpack also features lockable zippers and buttons at the front of the chest. I could pack a ton of my groceries in this backpack and enjoy all the sights without having to carry multiple bags. I also had an umbrella, had easy access to charge my phone while I ate (you provide battery and cable) and it has a small front zippered pocket for credit cards/ID so you don't have to reach into the main compartment.
