I was apprehensive about buying these lights because they looked so tiny and fragile. Even my previous purchases of solar lights always had little light. I had Christmas lights in my trees last year and the wires were thin and visible during the day. These lanterns have a very thin wire and a tiny light. During the day they are not visible. However, they glow all night until dawn. I bought a set to try for a few weeks and then went back and bought 3 more sets! The only problem I have with the 1st set is that I thought they broke several times because they wouldn't turn on. It could have been my dog or the rain because I only had to press the power button once and they started working again. I expected these lights to be bad but I love them! I need 2 more sets and my garden will be ready. Each strand covered two branches of the tree. Comes with 2 strands.
