[updated review] These headlights died about a year after I received them. At first they started flickering and only came on occasionally when I opened the door, but they've been dead for about two years. I'm only changing now because the light in the cabin isn't that critical, as it turned out. Environment: A black car in South Texas that has only been driven on the street. [Original Review] It's definitely brighter than the original headlights, but it has a slight purple tint when you get in the car. This gives the LEDs a cheap feel (and these days pure white LEDs shouldn't be difficult to produce!)
