WOW! First a little background on my hair. I'm 100% natural and I FINALLY found out I'm a high porosity chica and people are learning that your porosity is more important than your hair type! Trust me on that. If you are high porosity and using what a low porosity person uses, it will lift your hair worse than any flat iron. Ever since I was a kid, even before I blow dried my hair, even my afro puffs were super dry! Pooh. This is how the porosity of the hair appeared. Everything I learned about hair types is gone and luckily this product has come into play. People with low porosity hair need: Protein silicone. Protein is most important. As well as aloe and castor oil to lower pH levels. Luckily, this condisha has all of those ingredients and more! For people this doesn't work for, your hair might have low porosity which would make this not work, hence the reviews that it makes their hair "brittle and dry". Basically, low porosity doesn't like protein, and that's what happens when you use a product with protein. But for us people with high porosity, come on! This product makes my hair feel like butter! Plus it minimizes the products I have to use. Basically, my routine for leaving my once dry and cracked hair soft and luscious was as follows: Every 3-4 days: Shampoo with a sulfate-free shampoo Deep conditioner with a silicone blend (overnight) Rinse out in the morning, hand squeeze and pat hair Put that Aunt Jackie's quench in. Put on a t-shirt after showering. Apply a drop of a serum, e.g. B. Organix Coconut Serum (maybe two dimes, my hair is down to my armpits). Elastic Gel DONE The whole routine takes 10 minutes in the evening to wash, put the deep jam, and then 10 minutes in the morning! BAMM! Soft curls, happy hair and shine! Pooh! :) Hope this helps other people with highly porous hair! In any case, remember that Protein and Cone are HP's best friends! Just remember to chelate once a month and you will be fine!
