This pin came in a cute box, which is great for gift wrapping. The pin itself is a bright and shiny gold color and looks great on dark colored fabrics. It's very detailed and beautiful. The crystals are very shiny and don't look cheap. The chains tend to twist, but I expected that. Straightening the limbs takes a few minutes after you attach the pin to the lapel. This is costume jewelry, so the tallow will eventually stain it. It's a safety pin, so it shouldn't make too much contact with the skin, and discoloration shouldn't be a problem much longer than if it were a ring or bracelet. I find the price a bit high for that. It's a beautiful pin, but it's obviously costume jewelry.
