Review on KORE AVIATION P1 Series PNR Pilot Headset - Black by Gopal Baltimore

I was in dire need of a cheap flight school headset and fully expected to get something similar to what I have repaired so many times for other schools. I haven't seen this brand yet though and now I'm hoping it's because they don't need to be repaired as often. I wasn't expecting much given the price but when I actually used them I was very pleasantly surprised. The sound is nice and clear, it blocks noise effectively, and the mic is sensitive enough to be useful but not so sensitive as to interrupt cabin noise. When positioned correctly, it is not noticeable at all. Install, forget and use. I have no problem with standard foam pads; They are better than many I have used. I just have to see how they feel in the hot weather and as they age and wear them. Update - hot weather today and they weren't uncomfortable. (33C and high humidity. DA was 2,200 feet above our elevation, so you know it was pretty pathetic! It was stuffy even with the windows open and the big fan on.)
