I have looked at many rear view mirror kits and settled on this one for a number of reasons. I liked that the rearview mirror/display did not replace the factory rearview mirror as my factory mirror has an antenna for the remote lock/unlock function on my key fob. I liked that the video connectors on the mirror/display and camera are very small 4-pin connectors. Not the usual large and separate audio/video jacks. This considerably simplifies the masking of the lines in the headlining and the A-pillar. I love that they give you the option to plug it into a direct power source or into the included switchable cigarette lighter adapter or your car's reverse light wiring. I also like that the wiring harness can be reversed depending on whether you are connecting the power to the front or rear of the car. Note. If you have a Mini Cooper and are wiring to the reverse light wiring, you will likely need a 12v power relay that simply plugs between the wiring harness and the reverse light wire. This is because the taillight power supply is unstable. In general, for this money, it's hard to beat this kit! Customer support is also very good!
