So we built a house by someone who had a clear vision, either drunk or maybe insane. In any case, it is not designed for straight lines or even floors. We've been rearranging furniture lately, which is mostly a bad idea as some of the items we have were on areas of the floor where it was flat. Anyway, we moved the fireplace and it was against the wall but wobbled. I'm so glad I had pads in my tool box. One at each end, you don't even see them and they don't wobble anymore. The price is low but the quality seems ok. They are able to hold a small weight and I put that weight on them. They do the work as needed.
