The tape measure is accurate but some of the tiny needles are difficult to thread

This sewing kit for under $8 isn't bad at all. It can be used as a starter kit, an emergency kit, or a kit that a child can keep in their camping gear or in the room. The carrying bag is easy to store and holds 14 strands in different colors. The colors aren't very bright, but the cable is strong. It doesn't break when pulled. The needles aren't the best quality either, but as a last resort or for practice, the cost of the needles will work for small and simple projects. I have found that even the finest needles cannot be threaded with a needle threader. In fact, the needle threader cannot even be used for the smallest needles. The eyes on the needles are not too small for anything. Finally, I read in a review that the tape measure was inaccurate. I compared the tape measure that was in my kit to the two I have at home and measured the tape. It was absolutely accurate and I like the feel of the fabric on the tape measure. I suggest excluding needles with impossible ears from the kit and replacing them with better ones. It was absolutely accurate and I like the feel of the fabric on the tape measure.
