I am an avid tent camper, I camp at least 10 times a year in primitive sites in our state park system. I am familiar with what a cheap half decent tent should be. I thought this tent would be be good enough for my solo two day trips, I was very wrong. The Tent quality is awful and I would put it in the play Tent category. I would not trust this tent as my shelter unless I was camping out in my back yard for entertainment. #1 Material is very thin, this would tear easily at the slightest poke. #2 Poles are VERY cheap, and the strings pull through. They would break and splinter easily in wind or under heavy rain I have no doubt. #3 The slack in the sides of the tent makes the zippers snag, the doors are miserable to open, there is no way to peg thr door down for tension. #4 The velcro tabs that attach the rain fly to poles has barely enough velcro material to wrap around the pole and keeps coming undone. #5 The tent I received was missing the loop and hook from one end of the Fly that is used to attach the fly to the ring at the base of the tent. I set it up, only to quickly decide to immediately return for a refund. Don't waste your time thinking you will get a fairly decent tent for a reasonable price. Go to Walmart and get an Ozark Trail, it will be much better than this.
