Nice bushings just don't put them on 2

It's been almost a year since they were installed on my truck (2002 2500HD Diesel). Installing some of the bushings required burning or melting down the old ones. So if you don't have a burner, be prepared to invest in one. The rest of the jacks went in as expected from what I remember. The lube they give you is quite thick so use it properly but sparingly or you might run out. You can buy more in ES if needed, but I haven't run out. Now I was very cautious when I decided to buy this set because of the cab mount sockets. I kept reading horror stories of people having their teeth knocked out of their heads and various other explanations for how bad the ride was after installation. On the other hand, many reviewers said nothing or said it was appropriate. Well, let me tell you my side of the story. I did the install in sections, driving a truck after each section to see the result. I started with the front fenders, then the rear fenders and finally the silent blocks. Each of these sections were probably separated by a week or two, with the exception of the body bushings (more on that later). Well I got to the body bushings and did 6 on the left and right side of the cab, looked at the front 2 and decided to do them the next day because they looked like they were harder to get to (and they are you). So, like I said, I finished 6 and went skating. Stiffer, less body roll and of course some noticeable extra rumble or wobble. But I immediately decided it wasn't that bad, and I had no idea what these other guys were complaining about. I ended up driving a truck like that for a couple of weeks and I liked it. Then a weekend off led me to install the last two front cabin liners. That is the difference. I went horseback riding again after that and wow yeah big difference. It seemed that every little bump, rock or pothole was very noticeable. So I did some more reading and found that cab mounts need to "break in" or have a break in period after which they will work more as expected. Okay, it's not that bad anyway, and it's getting better, sounds good. No, it didn't get any better, and eventually my glasses kept bouncing out of the closet next to the air conditioner, just plain ridiculous. Too bad I already threw away my old cockpit mounts and stuck with them. So I found used ones and installed the old rubber mounts in the front. So much better! Ok to recap: install the kit leaving the 2 front body mounts. A very good compromise. Good luck, hope this helps.
