Review on Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 12/256 GB, Dual: nano SIM eSIM, black phantom by Wiktor Fokt ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Moved from S20 Ultra, which was two years old. Samsung has made great progress, it has become better in all respects. BUT it is with the S21 Ultra that I do not advise you to switch, there will be no “wow effect”, it is still an excellent device.

Pros
  • -The most important advantage over competitors at the moment, this is the ultimate flagship. Nowhere else can you find so much cutting-edge technology in one package, except in the S22 Ultra. Yes, something is on the same level, something is better, and something is worse (more on that later), but the flagship from Samsung has everything. -The undisputed leader in display (almost all manufacturers put Samsung displays on their top smartphones, including Apple, OnePlus, etc. ) with a brightness of 1750 nits (the brightest display at the moment, everything is readable even in the sun), hertz display from 1 to 120 Hz (but, see cons). - Camera system. This is the main reason why a mobile photography enthusiast should take the S22 Ultra. It has all the tools to achieve your goals, but, of course, you need to understand everything. Of the main advantages over other flagships, this is a 108 megapixel module (it was significantly worked out in conjunction with an AI processor). It is enough to take a picture in the 108 megapixel mode and select the "improve detail" item on the viewfinder or take a photo at a zoom of 30x, then it will immediately become clear how far the competitors are lagging behind in detail and telephoto cameras. Download the "Expert Raw" app from the Galaxy Store and you'll have unlimited opportunities to shoot in RAW and 16-bit color. Believe me, even on the machine photos in Jpeg in Expert Raw will pleasantly surprise you. The video also shoots excellent, laser autofocus does an excellent job even in dark shooting conditions, you can switch all the camera module (including the front one) while recording video (4K30 FPS and FHD60FPS) - so no one can at the moment . The S Pen is a very cool feature for photographers: it can be used as a remote control in the camera (it’s convenient to shoot from a tripod), it’s convenient to process photos on your phone with a stylus (for example, remove objects from a picture, etc. ). In general, the camera is a solid five. -A good 5000 mah battery and an excellent Exynos 2200 processor. You will not be disappointed with the autonomy and performance of the phone (but see the cons).
Cons
  • -The main drawback of the S22 Ultra is the raw firmware at the time of the start of sales. Because of this, there are microfreezes, blunting in the interface (the problem of adaptive hertz transition between modes), while everything works as quickly as possible. As always, Samsung releases a raw product in terms of software and then fixes it for its users for several months. Dislike for this. - The sound from the speakers is not the best. Yes, it was fixed with the latest firmware, but still, on my previous S20 Ultra, the sound is much more voluminous and clearer. The iPhone 13 Pro Max will have better sound from the speakers. At the same time, the sound via Bluetooth is top, there are all modern codecs. The sound from the earpiece is more than enough. -Poor package. Follow the path of Apple, shame and disgrace! There is a problem with the delivery of original accessories, they are out of stock (for example, Samsung EP-P2400 and Samsung Duo EP-P5400 wireless charger). - Performance. Yes, this is not an iPhone 13 Pro Max with 8-10 hours of screen and top performance A15 Bionic, but believe me, S22 Ultra with a 5000 mah battery and an Exynos 2200 processor you will definitely not be disappointed (on average 6-8 hours of screen and about 900,000 points in Antutu). The Exinos 2200 processor, by the way, is quite cold and even slightly better in terms of autonomy than the Snapdragon 8g1, but if you play games, then take the Snapdragon version. The adaptation of Exinos 2200 games to AMD's new Xclipse 920 lags behind Snap. On the other hand, who plays toys on smartphones? Mobile consoles with great graphics and gameplay will be better than any smartphone. ) -Price. Yes, now, due to the well-known events, the S22 Ultra costs space money, but I took it on pre-order for 108 thousand. with 512 GB of memory (just top for the money). And it's not Samsung's fault. Such a time. But if there is an opportunity to take the flagship (not necessarily Samsung), take it now. You will have a reserve for 3-4 years for all functions, and what will happen next is known only to God.
