It's a great thing to drink from, that's all. It won't hold the temperature unless you put a large amount of ice in it. I have two Contigo cups that I've been wearing for 4 years now. Contigo-cold cold for 16 hours. At the latest then it will start to fall, but it will still be cold. This cup? No, without ice it hardly stays cold for an hour. With ice it's about 2 hours. Refrigerate to keep the drink cold for the moment to drink it right away. But in a hot car or on the street. nope This area has to be cold for this mug to stay cool at all.
