Bought to replace Arlo Pro. Setup is very easy and I was able to get both cameras online very quickly. However, motion detection is slow and the recording lag often misses the face of an approaching person. Also, the distance the camera can see at night is very limited, which is very disappointing considering the Arlo does an excellent job at night. Finally, I was disappointed with the ability to set the camera to turn off. When I use a schedule I can only turn off the beep which only triggers a push notification on my phone. This setting is available when the system is set to Home or Away. I would like more flexibility. At some point I can return the device. It's not worth skipping a multi-year battery as a potential intrusion into your home. Update - Eufy regularly updates the cameras and now the system works much better. They still have a long way to go, but their efforts to improve are appreciated. The camera is now more responsive to movement, although there are occasional false alarms. Eufy's support has been phenomenal, it's one of the reasons I keep coming back to them. The upcoming home base will include face and pet recognition in cameras, although work on that is still ongoing. Their engineers have worked with me to solve any problem I might have and I have to say they never cease to amaze me with their willingness to do whatever it takes to keep their customers happy.
