The lack of any kind of IR or zoning, like my Ring products, means this thing works day and night unless I lower the sensitivity so much it doesn't record anything. However, motion detection is slow and the recording lag often misses the face of an approaching person. My system batteries lasted about 7 months at default settings, I removed the cameras for charging and swapping, and the mount destroyed the camera after charging and trying to reinstall. It is important to note that the version offered here comes with a base base cut off.
