I did a lot of research and gotten a lot of good reviews about it online so I jumped on two sets when I saw them at Ace Deal of the Day. Setup and installation was easy but not as good as my MUCH cheaper YI and Netvue cameras. I've watched several hours of videos saying Eufy is the best new thing, but so far I can't get any reliable motion detection. I followed the instructions for setting up and placing the camera (distance from the ground and angle of view). After installing them, I spend hours checking their performance. I've only installed three so far as I'm waiting for a mount for the fourth. Two work fine, but one gives me NO movement alerts. I had it about 15 feet from my car and tried to light it dozens of times. I can see myself clearly in the live stream and there is even an outside light nearby, but unless I have 100% sensitivity or stand right in front of it, it will NOT detect any movement (photo attached). I walked slowly, sometimes quickly, even jumping up and down without realizing the movement. If I then choose 100%, I get a million false positives (bugs, shadows, highlights). I'll be working with him again tomorrow, but right now I'm feeling a bit silly because I've talked a few of my colleagues into buying the Prime Day deal too (I really hope they don't have the same issues). . I have). I hope I can clear this up, but after about three hours of trying it out, I'm really wondering if I made the mistake of not paying a little more and buying a more established brand. ARLO. I'll let you know when I figure it out. On a positive note, I used a 1ST CHOICE CWI Gifts 1.75" hook to attach it to the vinyl siding so I didn't have to drill any holes. I didn't expect them to work, but they actually worked great. I highly recommend them if you choose Eufy or Arlo. I see that every time I connect my camera via Alexa/Fire Stick, it triggers CONTINUOUS motion detection notifications. They're VERY, VERY decent to talk to. I was ordered to reset the camera not detecting motion and asked to email it to the tech support staff for help with an Alexa issue. So I will try before I send them back. *** The representative was very clear that I have to be 100% satisfied or he wanted me to send it back to Revain for a refund. Pretty cool! UPDATE 2: Ok, I can't waste any more time on this. As much as I would like to keep them. I can't turn on motion detection. Very frustrating! So you come back. (And I spent $50 on mounts). UPDATE 3: Eufy emailed me several times to help me resolve my issue (although I have already sent them back). Your customer service seems to be top notch. I still regret that my cameras didn't work, but I will definitely consider Eufy in the future as technology advances.
