I really wanted to like this! Alas, I've tried it with three different leave-in conditioners and a curl cream, but this gel just always causes flash drying. As soon as it touches my hair, no matter what I layer with or how much water I use, it instantly leaves everything dry, rough and frizzy. I've actually been able to see the water *pour* out of my hair when I smooth this in. Absolutely bizarre, and completely unusable for me.That said, flash drying varies from person to person, so maybe you'll get lucky. There are a lot of five-star reviews for this thing, after all.
