I was surprised at how thick the metal was on these bars. They are definitely designed to carry a lot of weight. Together you get two separate rods that feel very strong when used together. There are different types of exercises you can do with these bars. Since they are separate, you can also create your own configuration to make them work best for you. flexibility is good. Assembling the bars was easy and they even included two nice solid keys which make it a lot easier than without them. An added bonus is that you can keep two wrenches for yourself, which will make a great addition to your toolbox. Not sure about the price but the quality of these bars is good.
