Beep you can't turn off!

I just finished assembling this treadmill. It's very lightweight, although not too fond of how the base is put together and it used the same piece, which you have to take out to fold it up. ANOTHER irritation is there is a LOUD beep when you start it up/change settings. Oh my goodness. not very apartment friendly. I wanted to do a quick work out at night but might not be able to with the loud beep you can't even turn off or lower its volume.

Cons

The handlebars may not be adjustable, limiting comfort and flexibility during use
