Review on Mizuno RB Tour Golf Balls by John Springer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Really good golf ball with a huge release

I bought these balls just to see if Mizuno could extend their technology to a golf ball. I have never played Mizuno golf balls before and didn't know what to expect and found very little feedback on this ball as it is new to the US. I was very happy with the overall performance of this ball on a cold, windy day (45 degrees). I have 7 points and am very good at catching the ball on the turn. First the positives: The ball goes crazy in the wind. I made several punches that were pulled with the wind and disappeared with the wind. This ball is cut through in both directions. like a hot knife through butter. I mean he just held his line. It was in all the clubs. I found a slightly lower trajectory that helped in the wind. The driver's spin seemed less, but that's really hard to tell, I didn't have any balloon rolls, which can happen in windy weather if you're not very good at holding the ball. The ball turns very well on the green and hits very well. Soft and quiet putter. only two successful shots with a wedge. Looks like my dog chewed on it. I played it anyway and surprisingly it played well, I didn't notice any problems flying. I will post photos in the next few days. Only played 9 holes with the ball and I think you'll be amazed at the damage. I switched to another Mizuno for the back 9 and it turned out to be much better. Maybe this is an isolated case. More reviews will tell. Conclusion: Great ball. You should buy it and try it as I believe the pros outweigh the cons. Depending on your hits this may only be good for one round, more data is needed to confirm durability and I will post the results. Let me know what you find too. "BEFORE"!
