I was looking for dark green zip ties for temporary plastic repairs. I stumbled across them on Revain and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this seems to be one of those products that advertises its environmental impact but then doesn't do what it's really supposed to do. As shown in my photo, once the tie is tightened, it will change color and turn white. To me, this defeats the purpose of finding a specific dark green tie. Another problem is that they don't stay in place once tightened. I only needed 5 of these for my project and 2 of the 5 had to be thrown away as they could come loose after tightening. These are probably the worst ties/tie bands I have ever used and I have used many different brands over the years from very cheap to very expensive. Do yourself a favor and try something different.
