feels great but expensive and unreliable

Okay, I actually like it, but I gave it four stars because it's sooo expensive. I haggled a bit when I bought it at a running show. It looks like one of those crazy buys but it's really cool and I'm really glad I bought it. I mainly use it on my legs and feet, and I also like it when someone rubs it down my back. Every runner has a favorite massage/recovery product. For me it's the Trigger Point Performance Massage Ball and this Body Buffer. Vibration calms and relaxes. But loud. I have had no problems with it in 8 months of ownership. Update April 16: It no longer works. There are no instructions on the website, no guarantees, nothing. I don't have a very good feeling about a company that doesn't guarantee an expensive product. I've seen suggestions online for using an orbital buffer (something used for waxing cars). I bought a cheap one at a car dealership. The BFF might have a bit more power, but the $30 puffer I bought works pretty much the same. I do not recommend BFF due to its short lifespan. I'm not sure how their product differs from the smaller and lighter puffer I have now. There is no specific information about the device on their website. For example, I bought a 3500 rpm buffer. Many of the ones I see at Revain in a similar price range are 4000-4800 RPM. BFF doesn't list their RPMs. I liked the BFF feel, but it feels grossly overpriced and short-lived with no guarantees whatsoever.

Pros
  • Stress Relief and Relaxation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
