These pants are very soft, but made from extremely thin fabric. To avoid panty lines/the fabric showing through, I personally would only wear thongs or very cheeky underwear while wearing these. I bought an XL, which is comfortable for me. If I wanted a tighter fit, I probably could have gone with the L and been okay (but the booty may be a little see-thru.). The ankles are elastic, and feel kinda cheap. But these are very inexpensive, so you get what you pay for. The slit goes all the way up the leg and if you’re walking even a short distance (a few feet) in these, there is no way to keep them closed. I don’t think I’m quite confident enough to wear these in public as they currently are*, but look forward to lounging around my house in them. (*I may make a few stitches adjoining the slits to make them a little less revealing, but still show some leg.)
