I was afraid they wouldn't fit, I tied them so loosely they wouldn't climb . unbuttoned on its own and has survived many beach and camping trips and a few washes. My dog is about 85 pounds for reference and I certainly got a big one. Dogs are bigger and a bandana won't fit, I guarantee that. (Unless you do an extension, which I'm seriously considering just to give her a little more wiggle room) The headband is such good quality. It has a stiffer canvas structure and a very tight elastic band. Two packs and my hair is good all day; doesn't even need an extra tie (note my hair goes down to my butt so that's very important to me lol). All in all such a cute gift idea for a human or a fur baby.
