Review on 💁 Effortlessly Straighten Your Hair with the V-Style Hot Comb by Ashley Long

Bought this comb because the reviews were so positive. To judge by myself, I would have to disagree with the crowd. Firstly, this comb is not hot, the maximum temperature it can reach is 218 degrees! Honestly, 218 degrees isn't much when it comes to coarse hair. So I tried it on a human hair wig and this comb couldn't even straighten Peruvian 10A body wave buns? What's going on here? Second, the design concept is totally impractical, heat needs to build up while you brush your hair, meaning the more you brush, the hotter it needs to be. It would be ok if the crest's temp point was really hot, it seems to me that it's a bit hotter than warm. I believe the thermal error is due to the built in 5 minute power off protection mechanism. If you stop your movements, the comb will automatically start to cool down to turn itself off. After all, the buttons are in the most inconvenient place, it's literally impossible not to cut this thing during use. I returned this comb and bought a 500 degree comb which was on sale for a few dollars more and is PERFECT for all hair textures.
