My ironic but good mistake. I ordered two pairs to keep muscle traction in the calf. I didn't realize they were S/M. I have nothing S/M. (okay, maybe THAT). Shoe size 12, large calves. Found out my mistake when they arrived (immediately). So I tried them on. It's hard to get in the first time but once they were on I got a lot of support. Have worn them all day. Helps to recover from muscle tension. I've seen other reviews that said "the compression of these socks was poor". So maybe I did the right thing by going down a size and getting a snug fit. It didn't cost me much to find out. Happy with my mistake.
