Sounds 30 seconds/2 minutes too quiet for children. What's particularly disappointing is that there's no auto shut-off at all. So the kid starts it and it will just go on and on until the motor burns out and you have to buy another one. Electric toothbrushes for kids seem to be imagining and designing for it. All children's toothbrushes need this, ideally around the 2.53 minute mark. Reading the timer my mind switched to a useful auto shut off rather than a little motor kick that kids wouldn't understand.
